By New date set for GTFC’s fixture against Carlisle
Following the games abandonment on Tuesday, a new date for Grimsby Town vs Carlisle United has been confirmed.
The Mariners will now host Carlisle on Tuesday 27 September (19:45 kick-off)
In a statement, the club said:
“All tickets for the original fixture (including season ticket cards) will be reactivated and allow entry for the rearranged date. Following the torrential rain on Tuesday evening, anybody whose tickets were destroyed or damaged as a result can visit the GTFC ticket office or call 01472 605050 (option 4) to arrange for a replacement to be produced.”
Furthermore, supporters who are unable to attend the newly announced fixture will be able to obtain a full refund by visiting the GTFC ticket office or by calling the club number.
For fans who purchased a Mariners TV pass for the cancelled mid-week match will automatically receive a refund in the coming days.
“Half-time bonanza tickets purchased for this fixture will be drawn at half-time of the rearranged fixture, so please retain your counterfoils,” the club added.
“We thank you for your patience regarding the matter and look forward to welcoming you all back to Blundell Park!”
