Tragedy as body found confirmed to be missing Louth man
A body discovered in a wooded area in Lincolnshire has been confirmed to be that of a missing Louth man.
David Peat, 55, had been missing since Sunday, June 5, and was discovered in an area of land near Kenwick Hill Roundabout on Monday, September 5.
The circumstances surrounding the body being discovered or what happened to David is currently in question.
Lincolnshire Police continued to ask for help in locating David with renewed appeals issued after his disappearance.
A file has now been passed over to the coroner who will look into the cause of his sad passing. The coroner will look into the reasons for his passing.
At the time, they said they were concerned for his welfare and asked people to check CCTV and doorbell footage to help.
David was last seen in the Louth area at around 11:30 pm on Saturday, June 5, wearing black jogging trousers, a black mid-length jacket, and brown walking trainers.
