Man hospitalised after Oxford Street incident
Officers are currently at the scene of an incident on Oxford Street in Grimsby this morning following reports of an assault last night.
According to Humberside Police, a man was assaulted after a number of other people entered a property and attacked him.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his head and face.
A scene guard and multiple police vehicles remain at the scene.
Witnesses say although there was a large police presence at the scene last night, but no other emergency services were called.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers were called to reports of an assault at a property on Oxford Street, Grimsby, at around 9:15pm yesterday (Wednesday 26 October).
“It was reported that a number of people entered a property and assaulted a man.
“One man was taken to hospital for treatment on injuries to his head and face, which are not thought to be life changing.
“A scene guard remains in place whilst our enquiries continue.
