By Halle Bailey left with ‘real tears’ after Delta flight
A pilot handed Halle Bailey a note that left her with ‘real tears’ during a flight with Delta.
Halle Bailey shared with her fans the note that she received from a Delta pilot that nearly brought her to tears on Twitter earlier Sunday.
The actress, 22, uploaded a photo of a short letter that had been personally hand-written to her.
Bailey shared the ‘beautiful note,’ as the pilot thanked the star for being an ‘inspiration’ and added that it was an ‘honor’ to have her on the flight.
The Delta pilot penned, ‘It is an honor to have you on board today.’
‘Thank you for being an inspiration to little brown girls all over the world like we were a few years ago.’
The pilot then signed her own name and added, ‘Your young latina female Delta Pilot.’
Halle added to the Twitter post, ‘this amazing pilot on the plane gave me this beautiful note today,’ followed by a tearful face and red heart emojis.
The talented star also shared the letter onto her Instagram story, and added the short caption, ‘Real tears.’
Halle will star in the upcoming The Little Mermaid live-action remake, and the film is slated to premiere next year on May 26, 2023.
During a recent interview with Variety, Halle said: ‘I want the little girl in me and the little girls just like me who are watching to know that they’re special, and that they should be a princess in every single way,’ the performer explained.
