By Millie Bobby Brown on ‘resonating’ with Britney Spears
Millie Bobby Brown shared her ‘biggest’ acting goal in her hopes to someday portray Britney Spears, in a biopic about the singer’s life.
The Stranger Things star, 18, shared her hopes with The Drew Barrymore Show, on Monday’s episode.
Drew, 47, also shared her experiences as child actors before graduating to more adult roles, similar to Brown.
‘What would you like to do next?’ Drew asked toward the end of their in-car interview.
‘I think her story, first of all, resonates with me,’ the actress explained.
She said the two shared the experience of ‘growing up in public,’.
Millie suggested she had similar feelings when she would watch old interviews with the pop superstar.
‘I mean, same thing with you,’ she said, comparing her and Britney’s early experiences to Drew’s work.
‘I see the scramble for words, and I don’t know her, but, when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way.
‘And hers only,’ she added.
Drew followed up the discussion by praising her as ‘So wise, so magnanimous and so freakin’ cool.’
