Letitia Wright hits out at ‘incredibly disrespectful’ report

Letitia Wright wants to forget and move on, after a report comparing her COVID-19 vaccine Twitter post was compared to other recent scandals by some Hollywood heavyweights.

The ‘Black Panther’ star, 29, posted to her Instagram story on Monday calling out the article.

The star said the article by The Hollywood Reporter was ‘incredibly disrespectful’, as it compared her controversy to others involving Will Smith and Brad Pitt.

“How dare you. You mentioned my name alongside men who have been accused of abuse & sexual misconduct. This is vile behavior,” Wright wrote.

The article questions how scandal could or could not affect actors’ chances of getting an Oscar nomination. Wright is eyed for her appearance in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,”.

Smith is also in the run up for ‘Emancipation’ and Brad Pitt for ‘Babylon’.

Angelina Jolie accused Pitt of assaulting her and two of their children in 2016, whilst Smith slapped Chris Rock during the controversial Oscars ceremony, earlier this year.

The article mentions the possibility of their scandals affecting their Oscar wins.

The article, written by Scott Feinberg, also names Roman Polanski, Wood Allen, and Casey Affleck.
