Grimsby paedophile dies in prison

A 70-year-old man from Grimsby who was jailed for 18 years for the rape of two young girls has died at HMP Full Sutton.

David Woodhouse was found guilty of three counts of rape and 12 indecent assault charges in July 2016.

It is reported that the offences for which he was convicted happened in the 80s.

Woodhouse’s sentence was scheduled to end in 2025, but he died of heart failure this October.

He also had several pre-existing medical conditions including obesity, hypertension, ischaemic heart disease, and type 2 diabetes mellitus.

He was also diagnosed with rectal cancer.
