Upcoming roadworks in Scartho, Grimsby

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, have announced their upcoming roadworks, and will be starting carriageway repair works at Scartho, Grimsby in March.

They say that these repair works are essential to repair defects in the carriageway and ensure that it is safe for all road users. Works will take place over a two-week period, and are being carried out in preparation for the annual surface dressing programme starting later this year.

During this period, localised traffic management – stop and go boards, cones and barriers – will be in place between 07:30 and 18:00 in order to keep the workforce safe. No temporary traffic lights and road closures will be in place.

Works will start on Southfield Avenue, Scartho between Eastfield Avenue and Louth Road on Monday the 23rd of March.

Parking will be temporarily suspended while these works are completed. A signed diversion route will be in place. All affected residents and businesses will be contacted.

North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE have apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused by these upcoming roadworks in Scartho and across Grimsby.
