Humberside Police appeal following incident in Hull

Humberside Police have issued the following appeal after an incident where a woman was forced into a car in Fountain Road, Hull, on Sunday the 4th of April.

According to detectives, shortly after 11.30am, police received reports that the woman, aged around 19, had been grabbed by a man and forced in to a BMW.

The BMW in question is believed to be a silver, 57-plate, 3-series.

The woman is described as being White, around 5ft 1in and of slim build. She is described as having long blonde / ginger hair and wearing a pale yellow vest top and light coloured trousers.

The driver of the BMW is described as being White, around 5ft 10in and in his mid-thirties. He’s described as having dark brown hair and is said to have been wearing a hi-vis jacket.

Rob Jones of Humberside Police has said:

“Our first priority is to carry out a welfare check on the woman in question and I would like to appeal to both her, and the BMW driver, directly to get in touch.

If you’re the woman we are looking for, please contact police as a matter of urgency, and let us know you’re ok.

If you witnessed this incident yesterday, or hold any information which could help with our ongoing enquiries, please get in touch. We are especially keen to hear from anyone with dash cam footage.”
