Officers for Hertfordshire Constabulary are investigating an incident of assault on St Albans Road in Watford.

Two photographs of a man police would like to trace have now been released.

It is thought that he may have information about the incident, which happened at around 9.10am on Wednesday 4 March in the Tesco Express store on St Albans Road.

A man and a woman became engaged in a verbal altercation before physically assaulting one another.

PC Greg Reynolds, who is investigating the case, said:

“We are keen to trace the man pictured as we believe he was in the store at the time of the incident and may have information that could assist with our investigation. If this is you, or you recognise the person pictured, please get in touch.”
