Police appeal following life-threatening collision in Cleethorpes
Officers for Humberside Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a life-threatening collision on Sandringham Road in Cleethorpes.
One woman has been left with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The road was temporarily closed following the incident, but has now reopened.
Humberside Police officers are investigating the incident which happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday the 29th of April.
It is thought that the vehicle was travelling from the Trinity Road direction when the collision occurred.
The silver Vauxhall Vectra involved in the crash has since been removed from the scene but evidence markers have been placed around the pavement where the incident took place.
Humberside Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses. A spokesperson said:
“We are appealing for witnesses to a collision that happened shortly after midnight today Wednesday 29 April 2020 on Sandringham Road in Cleethorpes.
“A Silver Vauxhall Vectra collided with a parked car and a wall causing serious and potentially life threatening injuries to the female driver of the Vauxhall. No one else was injured in the collision.
“Anyone who saw the collision or the vehicle prior to the incident should call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 4 29 April 2020.”
Police have been seen carrying out skid tests.
