18 residents from Scunthorpe and the surrounding area have won £1,000 each on via the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Wins in Scunthorpe and Keadby come just a few days after another nine wins were announced in the local area.

They also won around a thousand-pounds each, based on their postcode.

The addresses drawn this time were High Leys Road (DN17 2PZ), Scunthorpe, and Trent View (DN17 3DR), in Keadby.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier sent his well wishes and said:

“A big congratulations to our winners in Scunthorpe and Keadby today! I’m sure the win will help lift their spirits and I hope they can treat themselves to something special.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

The draw was promoted by ActionAid, which has received more than £8.4 million in funding to help change the lives of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable women and children across the world.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support. The next opportunity for local charities to apply for funding raised by players will be in August.
