Northern Lincolnshire’s scorching weather forecast!

Weather forecasters are predicting scorching temperatures in Northern Lincolnshire with what could be the hottest day of the year so far later this week.

But, authorities are still advising people remain at home and adhere to social distancing measures, in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Parts of northern Lincolnshire are forecast to be as hot as Ibiza, if not hotter, this week on what may be the warmest day of the year so far.

Some towns such as Scunthorpe could see 26C on Wednesday.

Nearer the coast, it’ll be cooler. Temperatures are likely to be between 20 and 22C.

Following the announcement that Britons are now permitted to engage in unlimited outdoor exercise, including sunbathing, it is expected that the mini heatwave will tempt many to head for Northern seaside resorts, such as Cleethorpes.

Authorities are continuing to prepare for an influx of out of town guests, but are also asking people to avoid crowded outdoor spaces, and to observe the two-metre social distancing rule.

The warm temperatures will be accompanied by plenty of sunshine and clear skies before the weekend.

Towards the end of the week, more unsettled conditions are expected to set in. But, it will remain fairly warm with highs between 19 and 21C.
