By Man taken to hospital after assault on Grimsby Road
Humberside Police are currently carrying out an investigation after a man was assaulted on Grimsby Road in Cleethorpes this evening.
The victim was taken to hospital, but the extent of his injuries and his condition are currently unknown.
The incident occurred at around 6.30pm today and officers from Humberside Police are currently carrying out enquiries in the area.
A number of police vehicles have been seen across the East Marsh.
An area has been cordoned off by police outside two houses on Grimsby Road, close to the junction with Park Street.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said:
“Officers are currently carrying out enquiries in the Grimsby Road area of Cleethorpes following reports of an assault shortly before 6.30pm today, Saturday, June 13.
“One man has been taken to hospital for treatment to injuries, the extent of which are not currently known.
“Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call our 101 number quoting log 435 of 13/06/20 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
