Fatal collision on Anlaby Road
A man has died following a fatal collision on Anlaby Road in Hull, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The crash happened at around 3am outside Hull Royal Infirmary.
The man, who was riding a Lexmoto Titan 125cc motorcycle, was thrown from the vehicle when it left the road.
Sadly he suffered fatal injuries.
It is believed that the man was travelling east on Anlaby Road towards the city centre.
The collision happened at around 3am on Thursday, July 2.
Officers for Humberside Police say the man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained staff.
A spokesperson for the force added:
“We are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which occurred on the A1105, Anlaby Road, outside the Hull Royal Infirmary at 3am today (Thursday 2 July).
“A Lexmoto Titan 125cc motorcycle, believed to have been travelling east towards the city centre, left the road, throwing the rider from the bike and causing him to suffer fatal injuries.
“His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the motorcycle prior to the collision is asked to call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 52 2 July 2020.”
The road was closed from Park Street to Rawling Way as officers investigated, but has since reopened.
