Grimsby’s ‘Doctor Bike’ returns

Grimsby’s ‘Doctor Bike’ surgery is scheduled to return to Grant Thorold Park, North East Lincolnshire Council have announced.

The free cycle maintenance community event allows locals to have minor bicycle faults repaired whilst they wait.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic booking is essential.

Visitors must bring their tickets along to the event.

Appointments can be made here, with visitors booking a 30-minute slot.

The community event will take place on selected dates throughout the year, with the first at Grant Thorold Park in Grimsby.

‘Doctor Bike’ surgeries will also return to the following locations in and around Grimsby:

  • Grimsby Leisure Centre
  • People’s Park
  • Centre 4, Nunsthorpe
  • Clee Leisure Centre
  • Bert Boyden Centre, Immingham

All events, organised by The Cycle Hub, are expected to take place between 4:30pm and 6pm.

Each slot is limited to one person and one bike for adults to support social distancing measures.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bikes will be sanitised before being returned to their owners.
