Police concerned for missing Hull man

Humberside Police are concerned for a man who has gone missing from Hull, he was last seen in the Pearson Park area of Hull.

Nigel Whittington was last seen at around 7pm on Thursday 9 July.

The 62-year-old has been reported missing and an appeal has been launched by Humberside Police to help find him.

Officers are concerned for his safety, and are requesting that anybody with information regarding his whereabouts come forward.

Both a description and photograph have been released by the police.

In a statement released today, a spokesperson for the force said:

“Have you seen missing 62-year-old Nigel Whittington?

“Nigel was last seen in the Pearson Park area of Hull last night, Thursday 9 July, at 7pm.

“He is described as being 5”11’ tall, stocky build and wears large round glasses. He has a distinctive bushy ginger beard and walks with his feet turned outward.

“We would like to locate Nigel as quickly as possible and would urge anyone who sees Nigel or knows of his whereabouts to call 101 quoting log 205 of 10 July.”

Anybody who may have seen Nigel Whittington or has information regarding the case is urged to contact Humberside Police via their non emergency number 101.
