Three-car collision closes Cleethorpe Road

Part of Cleethorpe Road in Grimsby was closed for several hours yesterday evening following a three-car collision which took place close to the flyover.

Closures were in place between Riby Square and the Jet petrol station.

Three vehicles, a white Audi A1, a black Kia Rio and a silver Toyota Aurus collided and were all damaged in the incident.

The condition of those inside the vehicles is not currently known.

The crash occurred at around 9.45pm.

Police have confirmed that Cleethorpe Road reopened shortly after 1am, a little over three hours after it was closed due to the three-car collision.
