Fire crew battles serious blaze in Doncaster
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crew are currently in attendance at a serious incident in South Street, Highfields, Doncaster.
It has been reported that a derelict building has been set alight.
The fire on South Street broke out this morning, Tuesday 11 August.
The cause is currently unknown.
The public are being asked to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the fire.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Tweeted:
We are currently in attendance at an incident on South Street in #Highfields Doncaster
This is a derelict building well alight

One local responded to the story, stating that the building in question has been set alight several times, and is easily accessible:
“It’s absolutely disgusting that it has been set on fire yet again. This is the fourth time now.”
