By Video update: Doncaster pub ablaze
Firefighters tacking a blaze at a derelict pub on South Street in the Highfields area of Doncaster have urged the public to avoid the area.
Video footage of the blaze has now surfaced:
The fire on South Street broke out this morning, Tuesday 11 August.
The incident was reported by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue via Twitter.
A spokesperson said:
We are currently in attendance at an incident on South Street in #Highfields Doncaster
This is a derelict building well alight

The cause is currently unknown, although residents believe the fire to have been started deliberately.
One reported that the property has been set alight several times in recent months.
She added:
“It’s absolutely disgusting that it has been set on fire yet again. This is the fourth time now.”
The public are being asked to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the fire.
