By Horse rescued from River Hull
Humberside Fire and Rescue have assisted in the search and rescue of a horse from the a river near Beverley Beck.
The crew were called to the scene yesterday evening at around 21:09.
A spokesperson said on Twitter:
Fire crews rescued a horse from the river hull near Beverley Beck last night. The old girl was left safe and well in Figham Pastures pic.twitter.com/NpJICoO8cG

Prior to the arrival of the rescue crew, a vet attended the scene and sedated the animal.
Humberside Fire and Rescue used the animal rescue equipment to lift the horse from the beck.
She was returned to her home in Figham Pastures, and is reported to be safe and well.
