“The number of new infections remain mercifully low for the time being, with our last confirmed case coming last Thursday – however, we still need to all do our bit, stay alert, stay sensible, and help to kick the disease out of Doncaster and Bassetlaw.
“Please do all you can to support to our team – stay at home, protect the NHS and help us beat Covid-19.”
Dr Rupert Suckling, Director of Public Health in Doncaster, urged people in Doncaster, added:
“Everyone should continue to follow all the safety guidance in place to ensure we slow the spread of COVID-19.
“It’s important to remember to stick to the safety measures in place to ensure we slow the spread of the virus.”

These will be created in memory of all the local people who have sadly lost their life to the virus, including beloved hospital colleagues Kevin Smith and Dr Medhat Atalla.
