Despite a generous package of benefits, HMP Hull has been labelled one of East Yorkshire’s toughest workplaces.
Alongside HMP Humber, the facility is currently seeking six new members of support staff.
The team will engage in responsibilities such as patrolling the corridors to monitoring phone calls and CCTV.
Successful applicants will be eligible for 25 days of annual leave, as well as nine bank and public holiday days.
Annual leave increases to 30 days after five years of service.
They will also receive access to paid training, and a generous Civil Service pension scheme.
HMP Hull employees will also receive season ticket loans, retail discounts, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
