Escape plan hatched in Grimsby
Plans have been put forward to turn a vacant building in the centre of Grimsby into an escape room complex.
The business would be located at a two-storey property in Nelson Street, across the road from Freeman Street Market, that has been empty for some years.
Escape rooms are a game in which a team of players discover clues, solve puzzles and accomplish tasks in a variety of rooms in order to progress. They have become increasingly popular in recent years.
Proposals put before North East Lincolnshire Council by the applicant Robert Bishop are for a change of use for escape rooms across both floors, with a reception and waiting area on the ground floor.
