Fresh appeal follows Grimsby Road assault

Humberside Police have renewed their appeal for information following a serious assault last week on Grimsby Road in Cleethorpes.

At around 11:20pm on Friday 28 August, officers were called to Grimsby Road after reports of an assault involving four men.

A man was discovered to have received serious head injuries between the junctions with Barcroft Street and Lovett Street.

Detectives investigating the incident have issued the following CCTV images, and are asking for public assistance in identifying the three men pictured.

They are believed to have been in the area at the time in the incident.

Humberside Police are now continuing to investigate the assault, which left one man seriously injured.

The suspects are believed to have left the scene along Barcroft Street, heading in the direction of Harrington Street.

A renewed statement released by Humberside Police said:

“If you’re one of the men, or you believe you know who they are, please call our non-emergency 101 line, quoting crime reference number 16/90621/20.”
