John Bishop and Chris Ramsey come to Scunthorpe

Comedians John Bishop and Chris Ramsey have scheduled new performances at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe.

Bishop is bringing his brand new ‘Right Here, Right Now’ tour to town.

The tour will see Bishop performing across the UK, Ireland, America, Canada and Europe.

The show is scheduled to go ahead on October 7, 2021.

An additional show has also been added for Chris Ramsey.

The gig will take place on Sunday, 21 March 2021 at 3pm as a matinee, as the 7.30pm show on the same day is sold out.

A spokesperson for The Baths Hall said:

“Critically acclaimed comedian Chris Ramsey is hitting the road for his biggest ever stand-up tour yet. Having filled venues across the country including The Newcastle Metro Arena (twice) don’t miss your chance to catch him live on stage while you can.

“His stand-up special ‘Approval Needed’ is available to stream on Amazon Prime now and alongside his wife Rosie he is also the co-host of the no.1 hit podcast Shagged. Married. Annoyed.

“Downloaded a phenomenal 43 million times to date, Chris and Rosie won the Global Award’s Best Podcast Award, and British Podcast Award Listeners Choice in 2020, their brand new book launched in autumn 2020 reaching number one on both Amazon and the Sunday Times Best Seller charts.”

Tickets for both shows are set to go on sale at 10am this Friday, 18 September.

Numerous events at The Baths Hall have had to be rescheduled to dates in 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

It is thought that social distancing measures will have been relaxed by the time of the ‘Right Here, Right Now’ tour.
