Alhagi Touray Sisay and Joey Hope have joined neighbours Cleethorpes Town FC from Grimsby Town FC on a short-term loan deal lasting one month, it has been confirmed.

Sisay signed a one-year deal during the summer from Aberystwyth Town, but is yet to make an appearance for Grimsby Town.

Hope signed his first professional contract with the club this summer, after progressing through the club’s academy system.

Both players will be eligible for Cleethorpes Town’s fixture away at Leek Town tomorrow.

Announcing the deal via Twitter, a spokesperson for Cleethorpes Town FC wrote:

“Also GTFC fans your most welcome to pop down to the myenergi stadium (linden) on Tues night to get a glimpse of Tourey and Joe and see also some footie at last”

Cleethorpes Town boss Dave Smith added:

“With suspensions and injuries stacking up alongside the busy schedule, I was keen to freshen up the options in the squad.

“Through our relationship with GTFC, I am very pleased to bring the two boys into the squad for the month.

“Joey will give me an option at fullback and his energy, pace and attacking style will really suit us.

“Touray coming in gives us a new dimension up front, his power and pace means we are a different threat.

“Everyone is excited to welcome them into the group.”
