Suspect wanted in connection with Ladysmith Road attack

Humberside Police have launched an appeal for Tom Allen, 26, in connection with a reported assault at an address on Ladysmith Road, Grimsby.

The incident took place on the evening of Thursday 8 October, and resulted in a large police presence in the area.

This was followed by a search for the suspect which involved armed police, a police plane and the dogs unit.

It is understood that a male victim was left with injuries to his leg and head.

He was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.

An appeal issued by Humberside Police last night reads:

“Can you help us find wanted 26-year-old Tom Allen from Grimsby?
“Detectives would like to speak to him in connection with a reported assault at an address on Ladysmith Road, Grimsby yesterday evening, Thursday 8 October.
“If you have seen him, or have any information that may help us locate him, please call our non-emergency 101 line quoting log 523 of 8 October.
“Alternatively, if you would prefer not to give your name, you can report information anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
