Man wanted after ambulance theft

Officers for Humberside Police are seeking to locate a 48-year-old Scunthorpe man in relation to an incident of theft.

According to reports, a man is accused of stealing medical equipment from the back of an ambulance as paramedics went to the aid of a patient at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

Police are now seeking to locate John Teanby.

It is believed that he is in the Scunthorpe area.

However, officers have been unable to track him down thus far.

A public appeal has now been launched.

Anybody who witnessed the incident or has any information regarding Mr Teanby’s whereabouts is urged to contact Humberside Police via the non-emergency number 101.
