Witnesses to Hainton Avenue dog attack urged to come forward by Humberside Police

Humberside Police are calling for any witnesses to the dog attack, which took place on Thursday 11 March at approximately 7:30pm, to come forward.
It was reported that a woman was approached by a dog on Hainton Avenue, and as she knelt down to retrieve something from the ground, she was bitten.
The victim sustained serious injuries to her face and required medical treatment as a result.
The dog has been described as a brown Staffordshire Bull Terrier and was not in the company of its owner when the incident took place.
Humberside Police are also asking that the owner of the dog come forward to assist with their enquiries.
