Police appeal for identity of man and woman involved in Grimsby Road robbery
Humberside Police are appealing to the public for information on the identity of a man and woman who robbed a shop on Grimsby Road yesterday.
The Grimsby Road robbery, which took place at 4:00pm, was captured on CCTV.
Police have released the images in an attempt to encourage people to come forward with information on their identity.
It was reported that whilst the woman waited outside the shop, the man requested alcohol from behind the counter.
When the member of staff placed the alcohol on the counter, the man attempted to take the items and leave the store without paying.
The member of staff tried to take the items from the man, which resulted in a struggle, causing an injury to her face.
Although the injuries aren’t thought to be serious, the staff member was understandably left shaken by the incident.
Humberside Police are urging anyone who knows the two people in the images to come forward and identify them.
A statement reads: “If you recognise the man or woman in the images or have any information that could help our investigation, please call or non-emergency number 101 quoting log 423 of 28 March.”
