Humberside Police are appealing for help to identify three men shown in the following CCTV images.

The police are wanting to speak to the three men in relation with a robbery which happened on Chantry Lane, Grimsby

The robbery was reported at approximately 9:00pm on Thursday 21 January. 

A man who was biking along Chantry Lane was attacked by three unknown men. 

The victim sustained serious injuries to his face and head which required hospital treatment. 

His injuries were not seen as life threatening however did cause serious damage. 

In recent statistics for, Number of robbery offences in the United Kingdom from 2002/03 to 2019/20 (in 1,000s), it shows robbery has begun to increase in recent years. 

The 92.48 thousand robbery offences occurred in the United Kingdom in 2019/20 marked a twelve-year high for this type of crime.

This was compared to 2018/2019 where the figure was 88.31 thousand showing a gradual increase.
