A new Subway store is scheduled to open in Grimsby this Wednesday April 7th at 11am.
The Birchin Way franchise is owned by local couple Aman and Kirran Nijjar, who own 5 other stores in the Lincolnshire area.
The first look into their latest development comes 15 years after the pair opened their first store on Victoria Street.

Mr Nijjar has described the new store as having a “fresh new feel to it with a new vibrant decor.”
Due to current restrictions, the shop will initially operate on a take out basis.
Once lockdown is has been lifted, it will provide seating for up to 25 people.
The development has created 26 new jobs, which have all been allocated to locals. According to Mr Nijjar, over 300 people applied for roles at the new franchise.
Speaking to Gi Grimsby News, he said:
“Many people recognise Subway as an American company, but being the owner of this franchise and having lived in Grimsby all my life, I am proud to employ 80 local people across all of our stores.
“After a very testing year we are looking forward to better days ahead.”
The new Subway is next to the Costa Coffee drive-thru, which opened last month.
