Police issue CCTV appeal following Brereton Avenue shop robbery last night

Humberside Police are appealing to the public to help identify people in CCTV images following a Brereton Avenue shop robbery which occurred last night.

The incident took place between 8.30pm and 8.50pm, with three men involved.

Two of the men reportedly threatened the shop worker with weapons.

A statement from Humberside Police reads: “An investigation has been launched following a robbery at a convenience store on Brereton Avenue, Grimsby between 8.30 and 8.50 last night, Wednesday 21 April.

“We are appealing for any information that could help us to identify the three men shown in the CCTV images in connection with the incident.

“Two of the men were reported to have threatened the shop worker with weapons and stolen various items from the shop.”

Detective Inspector Kerry Bull said: “We are conducting extensive enquiries to establish the identity of the men in these images.

“The incident has left the shop worker understandably shaken, but thankfully she wasn’t physically injured.

“The local policing team are in the area to provide reassurance and conduct further enquiries, and we would appeal for anyone who may be able to assist our investigation to get in touch or speak to these officers.
