South Yorkshire Police officers on the Doncaster East Neighbourhood team have reported a busy few days.
Yesterday, they were called to reports of criminal damage at a bus stop. A slingshot, which is thought to have been used to cause the damage, was seized at the scene.

The drivers of two vehicles were also prosecuted after a red quad bike and a silver Audi were brought to a halt in unrelated incidents.

The red bike failed to stop when requested, prompting the rider to attempt to take it off road and getting himself stuck, before resorting to two legs in a bid to evade capture.
Officers soon caught up with him, and he was arrested for failing to stop and driving while disqualified driving.

The man is expected to appear before a court in the coming days.

According to reports, the silver Audi has been involved in a number of offences both in South Yorkshire and in the Humberside region.
Police confirmed that the vehicle was seized it.
A spokesperson added that it had been “sent to our forensics team to work their magic.”
