By Police launch fresh appeal in Doncaster manhunt
South Yorkshire Police have launched a fresh appeal in their search for a man who absconded from a Doncaster prsion nine months ago.
John Elliott, 41, absconded from HMP Hatfield on October 11 last year.
He was serving a three year sentence for burglary when he left the open prison.
He has since failed to return.
Police have had no luck in locating Mr Elliott, despite a number of attempts to track him down.
Elliot is described as having a medium build with greying hair and a beard.
He is believed to have links to several parts of the Yorkshire region.
Anyone with information regarding his location is asked to call the non emergency number 101 quoting incident number 823 of 11 October 2020, or call 999.
