Lindsey Lodge Hospice to hold ‘Jog on January’ fundraising event

In a bid to raise money and get people active, Lindsey Lodge Hospice are seeing the return of their annual, 31-day fundraising event: ‘Jog on January’.

Participants can ‘jog, walk, dance, jump or peddle’ to earn the Jog on January medal.

Completing 31 days will raise £31 which will earn you the medal.

Upon signing up, with a registration fee of £15, participants will receive a Jog on January t-shirt featuring a calendar and a step-by-step fridge chart to help them keep track of the days they have completed their exercises.

They will also receive an invite to a private Facebook group containing daily challenges, videos, tips and more.

On top of all of that, participants will also receive a discount from Elite Fitness in the form of a January membership worth just £20 instead of the usual £30.

This will also be able to be extended for six months at the same price.

To help people along with the Jog on January challenge, there will be an opportunity to meet with Elite Fitness and Lindsey Lodge Hospice’s staff on their launch night, Monday 3 January 2022.

A personal trainer will be able to help with personal fitness goals and explain how to use the gym equipment.

Elite Fitness will be holding classes and helping individuals to create personal training plans.

The current time slots are 2:00pm to 3:00pm, 4:00pm to 5:00pm and 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Jog on January is not only a great way to get fit but to also spend time in a new community and get outside as people begin working from home more.
