By M180 closed due to ‘vehicle fire’
Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident on the M180.
Witnesses have reported seeing a lorry trailer on fire between the exits for Barnetby Top and Scunthorpe.
Large sections of the A15 and the M180 have been closed by police while a fire crew deal with the vehicle involved.
Significant traffic delays are expected.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Please be aware emergency services are currently dealing with an incident on the M180 approaching junction 4 .
“We have currently closed the A15 and A180 heading towards the M180, and eastbound between junction 3 and 4 on the M180.”
Motorists are advised to avoid the area were possible.
