Driver arrested after collision with school wall

A 20-year-old motorist has been arrested after being involved in a collision with a school wall.

He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene of a road traffic collision.

The incident took place on Wednesday 29 December at around 1:45am.

A red Audi A3 reportedly crashed into a wall outside of Louth Academy (formerly Cordeaux) on North Holme Road.

According to Lincolnshire World, a Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said that two teenagers received minor injuries in the collision and were treated at a nearby hospital.

The man was taken into custody but has since been released on bail.
