Here are the Scunthorpe Tuesday Pool League results for this week:
Showmans Fu Cue edged to the top of division 1 on Tuesday evening following a comfortable 12-1 victory away at Back In Black Beauty.
Rivals Army and Mulligans Trojans also kept up the momentum by scoring 11 points each with wins against Black Beauty A and Showmans Cobras respectively.
Brumby Hall were the big winners in division 2 as they are now four points away from the top spot following their 9-3 victory over Mulligans Tight Rack.
Beacon Rat Outcasts have moved into second spot for the time being as they came away from Comet with a 9-4 victory.
Cancel Flyers managed an excellent 9-3 win against Showmans Hitmen.
However, the victory still keeps them rooted to the bottom of the division for now.
Mulligans ST’s have gone to the top of division 4 for the first time this season, winning 9-3 at home to Talbot.
Fedoras could yet make a late title challenge as they have numerous games in hand on their rivals.
In division 5, Mulligans Youth also tasted life at the top for the first time this season following a 7-5 win over RHH Hospital Club.
Old Farmhouse couldn’t capitalise on their lofty position going into the new year as they came away from seventh-placed Butchers Of Winterton with a 7-5 losing effort.
The big game in division 6 was closely completed as expected with Mulligans Young Ones overcoming title rivals Mill Road DM 7-5, maintaining their position at the summit of the division.
Showmans Hornets did their title hopes a world of good following their impressive 9-3 victory over third-placed Schnapps Elite.
Meanwhile, Foxhills still have an excellent chance of silverware this season as they overcame Brumby Hall B 7-5.
