Scunthorpe Tuesday Pool League sees spectacular results

The weekly Scunthorpe Tuesday Pool League results are in and can be found below:

Showman’s Army came away from fellow title challengers Mulligans Trojans last night with an 8-5 victory in division 1.

Fu Cue became the first team in the division to reach the 100-point mark and they did so in style, winning 11-1 at home to Black Beauty.

Redbourne Mods did their title aspirations a world of good going into the run in as they won 8-5 at Messingham Crown.

Glenny’s Poachers have burst onto the promotion picture suddenly following their fine 9-3 win against promotion-challenging Brumby Hall A.

Mulligans Majestic Sausage Dogs have opened up a 17-point gap with the game in hand over second-placed Beacon Rat Outcasts.

Additionally, Los Dachshunds started the new year in the best possible way by beating Pig & Whistle 9-3.

Fedoras Z appears to be making a late title charge following an 8-5 away win at Harry’s Bar.

Mulligans ST remain top after their 6-6 draw with Redbourne NnC, whilst Chancel keep themselves in the hunt for promotion by beating Brigg Town 7-5.

Old Farmhouse could be on for a consecutive league title this season as they overcame bottom side Mill Road B 9-3.

Jolly Sailor and Butchers of Winterton also shared the spoils 6-6 in Gunness this week.

Mill Road DM kept up the pressure in division 6, winning 9-3 against fellow Ashby side Beacon Rats.

First-placed Mulligans Young Ones and third-placed Black Beauty shared the honours 6-6 this week, whilst Frod Road picked up only their second victory of the season in convincing style, winning 10/3 against local rivals Grosvenor B.

Newcomers Schnapps Retro avoided defeat for the first time this season on the 11th attempt as they earned a hard-fought draw with Scunthorpe Bowl.

The title race appears to be going down to the wire as both Foxhills and Showman’s Hornets picked up convincing wins against Beckwood 8-4 and Mulligans Unique 11-2 respectively.
