Daniel Boulton ‘encouraged armed police to shoot him during arrest’

A court has heard how Daniel Boulton, 30, encouraged armed police to shoot him during his arrest last year

He is currently on trial accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend and her nine-year-old son back in June 2021.

Ms Vincent and her nine-year-old son Darren were found stabbed to death at their home in Louth, Lincolnshire;

Boulton was arrested shortly after at Hallington House Farm, and is now on trial at Lincoln Crown Court. He has denied two counts of murder but admitted to manslaughter.

According to the BBC, the jury assigned to Daniel’s case heard a chilling statement accusing him of “encouraging armed police to shoot him” during his arrest.

Mr Boulton is also accused of assaulting an off-duty police officer before resisting arrest and fleeing to a nearby farm.

A jury at Lincoln Crown Court heard how he asked officers to shoot him before he was tasered and arrested.
