McDonalds breakfast is back!

McDonalds’ breakfast menu has returned to all of the North Lincolnshire outlets including Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe!

This will be the first time that breakfast has been served at McDonalds since their closure in March.

The return comes as branches extend their hours following a successful reopening of drive-thru and delivery services a month ago.

Stores in Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe are offering a limited breakfast menu.

This includes all McMuffin varieties, hash browns, bacon rolls, pancakes and the cheesy bacon flatbread.

Other favourites such as milkshakes, hot chocolate, the mayo chicken, and the bacon double cheeseburger will also be reintroduced.

1,329 McDonald’s outlets across the UK and Ireland have now reopened.

Only 92 remain shut.

Despite the long queues seen when the fast-food chain reopened, the return of the breakfast menu has prompted a calmer response.

A spokesperson for McDonalds said:

“We have seen such a brilliant reaction to breakfast in the first 42 restaurants, the return of the McMuffin is proving incredibly popular.

“We are therefore delighted to confirm that over 1,250 restaurants will add breakfast to the menu.

“Our menu will still be limited, we will unfortunately not be serving bagels, wraps or porridge for now.

“Our opening hours continue to vary, the quickest way to check your local restaurant will be via the My McDonald’s App, where new users can also get a free coffee upon registration.”

Until now, most stores have been operating with limited open hours.

Now, it is expected that most will reintroduce their original hours, with most now serving from 7am with some welcoming customers 24 hours a day.

Customers are advised to check the details of their local store before travelling.
